International Hemp Day – 2025

The annual, International Hemp Day, 2025 is hosted by Kannaway, held this year, in Malmö, Sweden. Join us for an immersive day and evening with guest speakers, Dr. Stuart Titus – CBD Expert & Co-Founder of MJNA, Lorenza Romanese – Managing Director of EIHA, and Valerie Aloisio – Global Hemp Entrepreneur.
A day dedicated to the incredible properties of the industrial hemp plant. Learn all the latest about the practical use of hemp fibre, textile, composite materials, seeds and much much more.
An advanced lecture on the health benefits of hemp derived cannabinoids will be delivered by Dr Stuart Titus, co-founder of the world’s first publicly traded cannabis company and an international speaker on hemp and CBD topics.
Lorenza Romanese, Managing Director of the European Industrial Hemp Association in Brussels will share about the socio-economic importance of hemp, how it is really the real “green deal” and the latest developments in legality of hemp based food and feed in Europe.
Global hemp entrepreneur Valerie Aloisio from the US, founding member of the world’s first direct selling company in CBD products will share her exciting journey and stories about the lives that have been touched by this amazing plant.
Janne Heimonen, Managing Director of Kannaway Europe and co-founder of the international Hemp for Humanity movement will be hosting the event.

Dr. Stuart Titus
Stuart, a 10+ year pioneer of the cannabis industry, is the Co-Founder of the first-ever publicly traded cannabis company in the US, Medical Marijuana, Inc. He has been involved in all aspects of the medical marijuana and industrial hemp industries overseeing a robust portfolio of subsidiaries and investments.
Lorenza Romanese
A veteran policy advisor and communication manager at the European level, Lorenza has led EIHA’s efforts in Brussels since February 2019. Lorenza was appointed in March 2022 as co-chair of the policy and regulation committee of FIHO (Federation of International Hemp Organizations), a global association that identifies and creates opportunities to scale sustainable hemp production, marketing, and trade.
